"On November 20-21, City staff were at TELUS World of Science to explain how transportation is more than just moving people and how it is essential infrastructure that shapes our city, impacts our sustainability and influences our economic well-being.
Thank you to all LEGO® builders who participated to the Challenge and built creative pieces. The winning models have been integrated to the bigger display featuring the future Edmonton transportation network. This will be exhibited until January 2, 2011."
Here are the photos from our visit to TWOS!

We really wanted to make it to Telus World Of Science before the lego display is gone but it looks like that may not happen. It's not so easy moving so far with only what we need this time of year. I hope to get year passes with a bunch of attractions in the new year.
ReplyDeleteYes, my wallet is full of annual passes and I'm thinking of downsizing next year, lol ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe Zoo, Muttart, John Jansen, and Ft. Edm are great to get as a Multi Facility Pass. It's the best value if you think you'll go to all of them-- as opposed to getting them separately per facility.
If you want a Royal Alberta Museum family pass, for the same amount of money, you can ask for the "Experience Alberta's History Pass" that will get you into the RAM as well as many other AB sites from the Tyrrell in Drumheller to the oil-thing in Leduc and the little Rutherford House at the UofA campus! Plus the Reynolds Museum. Awesome deal, but they don't advertise it well at the RAM, you will have to ask for it. But it is available at any of the participating facilities. Did anyone make a LEGO transporter like on Star Trek?
ReplyDeletesure, it was behind the big building ;-)
