My husband sent me this link to an article over at Brain Pickings about a book with amazing photographs of nests. Follow the link to read the article and catch a glimpse of some of the photos.The book is called Nests: Fifty Nests and the Birds that Built Them by Sharon Beals. Over at Amazon.com, you can see a few more photos that the book offers and even take a look at some of the inside pages. Looks very beautiful. Our library does not carry it, but I think I'll put in a request!

Thank you so much for talking about my book on your blog. I am glad to see it is getting attention in Canada. I am always a supporter of local book stores. If you have one in your neighborhood and can resist pushing the Amazon button, ordering locally gets a book in front of local eyes too. But you know that, book lovers that you are.

And around here we certainly have some great local, independent books stores that are wonderful to visit. The thing about amazon, dot com in particular, is that one can check out customer ratings and comments-- plus, with your book, a few more pages can be viewed to entice one out to those local bookstores! ;-)
